" My experience at Phat Hong was unfortunately less than stellar this time around. The food was lukewarm when it arrived, and the flavors just didn’t pop like they used to. The shrimp fried rice was rather bland, and I really missed the spice that used to be a signature of their cuisine. The service was decent but not what I’d call exceptional either. " Never had such delectable Thai food! The flavors are spot on, especially in the curries. I tried the red curry chicken, and it was a delightful mix of spice and creaminess, absolutely perfect. The portions are enormous; I couldn't finish it all, so I took the rest home. The staff was courteous and kept the atmosphere lively. " Lately, I've been really disappointed with the quality of food at this restaurant. I've been a loyal customer for years, but what used to be fresh and flavorful has become inconsistent. The last order I had for a General Tao was so overly sweet, it tasted almost like candy rather than a savory dish. I also noticed the chicken wasn't up to par. It's disheartening because I used to love this place. I hope they can return to their old standards because the atmosphere is still cozy and inviting. For now, I have to give them a 2-star rating. " I discovered Phat Hong by chance while passing through the neighborhood, and I’m so glad I did! The noodle dishes are simply outstanding. I had the Singapore noodles this time, and they were well-seasoned with a hint of spice that made each bite delightful. Plus, the portions were much larger than I expected for the price. My friend ordered the spring rolls, and while they were decent, I think the noodle dish stole the show. I’ll definitely be making this a regular spot for takeout! My final rating is a 4.
